For me, that root was my debut novel, Rooted in Silence. What began as a book became the foundation for Harbor & Stone Press.

I know how overwhelming publishing can feel—I’ve been there myself. When I wrote my first book—Rooted In Silence—I realized the process was fragmented and intimidating: editors here, designers there, formatting somewhere else. Indie authors were left to piece it all together.

For over four years, I’ve spoken publicly all over North America, and one thing that always stands out is this: no matter where I go, when I tell people I’m writing a book, they almost always say, “I’ve always wanted to write one too… but I don’t know how.“

With a Master’s degree in Communications & Media and years of experience across roles spanning communication and education, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful stories can be when they’re given space to grow.

That’s why I founded Harbor & Stone Press and Harbor & Stone Press University—to give authors not just a pathway, but the tools, guidance, and support to bring their books to life.

From author to publisher, I know the challenges. And I built Harbor & Stone so you don’t have to face them alone.
